Fox News host Melissa Francis took to Twitter to accuse her local country club of shunning her family, suggesting she was being targeted because of her political views.
While previewing an interview with a Trump official on her Fox Business Network show, Francis wrote on Sunday night, “happy you’re in NYC even if Siwanoy shuns my family yet again (they must prefer @CNN v @FoxNews ).”
Francis claimed that while she is a member of the posh Bronxville, New York establishment, she can’t get a table there for dinner.
“We are member of Siwanoy Bronxville but somehow, they can’t fit us in for dinner,” she wrote. “Repeatedly. I’m sure it’s a coincidence and not something more. Right?”
Francis concluded with several hashtags suggesting the alleged discrimination was politically motivated: “#NeverTrumpers #cnn #HillaryForever?”
The Siwanoy is a century-old country club and golf course in the bucolic Westchester suburb of Bronxville, a short Lincoln Towncar-ride from Midtown Manhattan.
