Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders escalated his war-of-words with the White House Monday night; declaring President Trump “the most dangerous president in modern history” and demanding Congress subpoena those named in Robert Mueller’s report.
“We have the most dangerous president in the modern history of our country. Someone who’s a pathological liar… It goes without saying that the Congress has to take a hard look, do a hard investigation, and subpoena the people named in that report,” Sanders said at a town hall event.

The self-described Democratic Socialist raised eyebrows across the country this week after he said mass shooters and convicted felons must be allowed to vote while serving their prison sentences.
